O volante Felipe Melo foi considerado um dos culpados pela eliminação do Brasil na Copa do Mundo de 2010. Além de ele ter marcado um gol contra na derrota para a Holanda por 2 a 1 nas quartas de final, ele foi expulso após agredir Robben, o que prejudicou a equipe nos últimos 20 minutos de jogo.
O jogador da Juventus, contudo, refuta o rótulo de vilão que lhe foi aplicado por causa de seu estilo truculento em campo e pelo temperamento explosivo.

Parece que tudo o que o Felipe Melo faz é errado”, defendeu-se o volante, em entrevista ao programa “Fantástico”, da “Rede Globo”. “Quem começou a jogada do primeiro gol contra a Coreia foi o Felipe. Contra a Holanda, fui eu quem deu o passe para o gol do Robinho”, lembrou.
E, segundo Felipe Melo, essas boas jogadas não podem ficar no passado por causa de um erro. “Tudo o que fiz não pode ser apagado por causa de um cartão vermelho em um jogo em que o Brasil já estava perdendo.”
Na ocasião, após cometer uma falta em Robben, Felipe Melo dá um pisão no atacante holandês e recebe o cartão vermelho. Com um a menos, então, o Brasil não consegue forças para reagir e conseguir, ao menos, o empate contra a Holanda.
Ainda defendendo-se, Felipe Melo falou que não pode ser rotulado como um jogador desleal. “Naquele momento eu posso ter perdido a cabeça pela vontade de fazer algo a mais porque o Brasil não estava se encontrando em campo”, admitiu. “Mas é muito fácil falar. Sou um jogador que tenho um caráter muito forte, dentro de campo tenho muita garra e, às vezes, falam que sou desleal. Mas é garra.”
Felipe Melo também voltou a falar que não teve maldade no lance em que pisou em Robben. “Naquele momento, perdendo o jogo, tudo o que a gente tentava fazer dava errado. Tenho uma experiência grande no futebol. Se fosse para quebrar, ele não voltaria pro jogo. Tenho minha malícia. Todo jogador sabe como tirar o outro de campo.”

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
