O vigor físico, o entusiasmo, o sorriso incontido e a simpatia estão lá, 70 anos depois. Pelé lançou neste sábado, no Forte de Copacabana, no Rio, o livro Pelé 70, com imagens raras e inéditas de sua fantástica carreira, em comemoração ao seu aniversário de 70 anos. O maior jogador de todos os tempos teve uma companheira à altura para a ocasião. A taça da Copa do Mundo, exposta em todo o esplendor de seus 18 quilates de ouro maciço, brilhava ao lado do Rei.
Como em toda cerimônia em que se faz presente, Pelé teve de falar de suas expectativas para a Copa na África do Sul e sobre seleção brasileira. Entre os assuntos, o jogador do século defendeu a possibilidade de Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Robinho e Kaká jogarem juntos.

“Na Copa de 70, todo mundo dizia que eu, o Rivelino, o Jairzinho e o Tostão não poderíamos jogar juntos. E deu muito certo. Não vejo por que Ronaldinho, Kaká e Robinho não possam dar certo também”, avaliou Pelé, ressaltando que a recuperação do futebol de Ronaldinho, no Milan, só dificulta ainda mais a tarefa do técnico Dunga para as futuras convocações.
O craque aproveitou para fazer um apelo ao torcedor brasileiro e, por extensão, aos jornalistas. “Deixem o Dunga trabalhar direito. É hora de apoiar irrestritamente a seleção, mesmo que as coisas não estejam caminhando bem no início. Será uma Copa muito disputada. Não há nenhuma seleção que está muito acima das outras”.
Sobre o livro, Pelé comentou em especial fotos do início de sua carreira, quando ainda era um moleque mirrado e já demonstrava condição atlética incomum. “Tem quatro fotos comigo, baixinho, subindo acima das luvas do goleiro para cabecear uma bola”, destacou.
A Taça do Mundial está em turnê pelo mundo e chegará a São Paulo neste domingo, onde fica até terça-feira, seguindo depois pelo seu passeio pela América Latina.
